Spirit Airways, the funds provider that filed for chapter twice this yr, is shedding about one-third of its flight attendants, because it cuts flights and restructures the enterprise to scale back prices.

The transfer comes after the airline  earlier this month, introduced it could cut back capability  by about 25% in November. On the time, CEO Dave Davis stated layoffs would seemingly accompany the scheduling cuts.
